Bottom Feeders & Bottom pickers - todays report

Are you a bottom feeder Or may i say a Bottom picker ??

Well i surely am , and i am sure many of you smart traders do exactly the same , tuck some spare cash in there for the right prices to come buy and then make a killing.

The market has just bottomed out enough for my like for this share and i would buty at this price for a long term or even medium term benefit . Another share that was looking good at yesterday prices and maybe even todays price is

WOW @ 24.93 is another pick

Remember its the year ending and prices may dip a bit further at loss ( realising ) taking by many traders etc before 1 july 2008 for the financial year returns


CAZ - CAZALY RESOURCES LTD - up 19.5 cents to 52 cents

FMG - FORTESCUE METALS LTD - up 52 cents to $10.97

RIO - RIO TINTO LTD - up $3.09 to $140.15

Shares in Cazaly Resources almost doubled in value in early trade yesterday after it confirmed it had teamed with Fortescue Metals to potentially mine for iron ore in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

FLT - FLIGHT CENTRE LTD - up $1.07 to $17.50

Flight Centre has lifted its profit guidance for fiscal 2008, following "continuing healthy sales growth globally" during the second half.

AMC - AMCOR LTD - down two cents to $5.82

Amcor has issued a clarification on its debt profile after an analyst erroneously reported the packaging giant needed to refinance $1.76 billion over the next 12 months.

BOL - BOOM LOGISTICS LTD - down 9.5 cents to 80 cents

Boom Logistics has downgraded its full year profit guidance by up to $8 million following underperforming operations in Western Australia.

SGM - SIMS GROUP LTD - up $2.08 to $39.45

Shares in scrap metal recycler Sims Group jumped on an earnings upgrade and takeover talk.

WBC - WESTPAC BANKING CORP LTD - up 24 cents to $22.00

Westpac Banking Corp plans to raise $600 million from the sale of new Tier 1 hybrid securities in the domestic market.

High frequency and computerised trading androgue trading is again  in the news with  trader Mr Adoboli working for UBS  who was arrested at his desk, is alleged to have lost £1.3 billion through his rogue trades  according to the company , now also annoucing that they might go into a loss in this quarter. According to some reports in the media it was said that Mr Adoboli Himself had reported the  trade when the trade went bad before the computers picked up the loss.
Not so long ago in 2008 Jérôme Kerviel, the Paris-based Société Générale trader lost £4 billion in rogue trades, but fought it out in court contesting that the trading firm knew about his trades with large amounts.
